The specific services, materials, and pricing for your project will be confirmed in writing (quote, invoice, or receipt) prior to the start of work.
3.2 Scheduling & Appointments
Appointments must be scheduled in advance. We ask that vehicles or properties are made available at the scheduled time. Late arrivals of 15 minutes or more may require rescheduling. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, equipment issues, or staffing, and will notify you as soon as possible.

3.4 Warranty
All window tint film installations are backed by a manufacturer's warranty against defects such as bubbling, peeling, cracking, and color change under normal use and care conditions. Warranty coverage varies by film type and brand. Please ask us at the time of service for specific warranty terms for your installation.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from: improper cleaning, use of abrasive cleaners, physical damage or scratches, window defroster damage, or tampering/modification after installation.
Paint protection film and ceramic coating warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers. We will assist you in filing a warranty claim if needed.
3.5 Utah Window Tint Law Compliance — CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Utah law (Utah Code § 41-6a-1635) regulates the allowable visible light transmission (VLT%) for window tint on vehicles operated on public roads. Current standards include:
Front side windows: must allow more than 43% of light in.
Back side windows: any darkness permitted.
Rear window: any darkness permitted (if the vehicle has outside rearview mirrors on both sides).
Windshield: non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 4 inches only.
IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S SOLE RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that the tint darkness level selected complies with Utah law and any applicable federal or local regulations. By selecting a tint level, you acknowledge that you have been informed of these regulations and that you accept all legal responsibility for ensuring your vehicle's tint is compliant.
Ogden Window Tinting is not responsible for citations, fines, failed inspections, or legal penalties resulting from the customer's choice of tint darkness.
3.6 Vehicle & Property Condition
Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle or property is in a reasonably clean condition prior to service. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, scratches, or defects discovered during or after installation.
By authorizing us to perform services, you represent that you are the owner of the vehicle/property or have the legal authority to authorize modifications to it.
3.7 Cure Period for Tint
Freshly installed window tint requires a curing period of 3–7 days (longer in cold weather). During this time, minor haziness or small water pockets are normal and will dissipate. Do not roll down windows for at least 3 days after installation. Do not clean the interior of tinted windows for at least 7 days.
3.8 Cancellations & Refunds
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Same-day cancellations may result in a cancellation fee if materials were pre-cut or prepared. Refunds are not offered for completed services except in the case of a confirmed workmanship defect covered under our warranty.
3.9 Limitation of Liability
In the event of damage caused by our negligence, our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed. Ogden Window Tinting is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We are not responsible for damage to items left in vehicles during service.
3.10 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or small claims court in Weber County, Utah.
