Tint that was legal somewhere else.
A posting to Hill means your car arrives wearing whatever the last state allowed, and plenty of it doesn't pass here. Utah wants your front side windows to let at least 43% of the light through. Behind the driver — rear sides and back glass — you can run any darkness you like.

How to get here
Drop it off. Pick it up.
Highway 89 runs past the east side of the base and becomes Harrison Blvd — the shop at 5804 Harrison is right on it. From the west side, take I-15 and come across on Riverdale Road. Either way it's about fifteen minutes. Open Tuesday to Friday 9 to 6 and Saturday 10 to 4.

Drop it before your shift
Doors open at 9, 10 on Saturday. Cars come to the shop — that's where your pattern gets cut to your exact windows.
Pick it up after work
Two to three hours for most full cars. Nothing stays overnight, so it's back on your driveway the same evening.
The base is one of the biggest employers in Davis and Weber County, so plenty of the appointment book already drives this route. Book a time or call the shop.
Heat in the lot
Parked outside all shift.
A car that sits in an open lot all shift gives the heat straight back when you open the door. Ceramic film blocks a large share of the heat you actually feel, and every film here stops 99% of UV with a lifetime warranty.

Whether you landed in Layton, Clearfield or Roy, the west-facing rooms are the ones you'll complain about by July. Home window film takes out the heat and the glare, stops floors and furniture fading, and leaves the view alone. Offices and storefronts use commercial window film.

Is there a military discount?
Ask when you book. We don't publish one on the site, so the honest answer is to raise it on the phone rather than assume it off a web page.
Can you tint my car on base?
No. Cars come to the shop at 5804 Harrison Blvd — that's where your pattern is cut to your exact windows before the film touches the glass.
I moved here with tint from another state. Is it legal?
Often not. Utah wants at least 43% of the light coming through the front side windows. Rear sides and back glass can be any darkness, so usually only the fronts need sorting out.
How long will the car be there?
Two to three hours for most full cars, under an hour for the front two windows. Drop it before your shift and pick it up after work — nothing stays overnight.
