A Nissan Rogue in the bay at Ogden Window Tinting
Next to the base

Parked in the sun all shift.

Roy sits right next to Hill Air Force Base, and a lot of Roy cars spend the whole working day in an open lot with nothing over them. They come back to you at the temperature the sun left them.

  • About fifteen minutes from Roy, by I-15 or surface streets
  • Plenty of Hill Air Force Base families in the appointment book
  • Same-day on most vehicles — dropped at 9, done that afternoon
  • XPEL film, lifetime warranty, 99% of UV stopped

Ceramic film cuts the heat that builds while the car sits, and keeps 99% of the UV off you on the drive home — the one where the sun lands on your left arm the whole way. Utah has the highest melanoma rate in the country, helped along by 4,300 feet of thin air.

How to get here

Drop it off. Pick it up.

5804 Harrison Blvd in South Ogden, about 15 minutes from Roy. Open Tuesday to Friday 9 to 6 and Saturday 10 to 4. Cars are dropped in the morning and picked up the same afternoon — nothing stays overnight.

Call or text (801) 479-8000 with the year, make and model. Real number, usually same day.

Drop it before work

We open at 9 Tuesday through Friday, 10 on Saturday. Fifteen minutes from Roy and you're parked out front.

Pick it up after

Two to three hours for a full car. If you're on shift, tell us and we'll line the appointment up with it.

Harrison Blvd runs past Weber State University; we're south of the campus. Book a time or call the shop.

Three films

Same warranty. Different heat.

Every film is XPEL, blocks 99% of UV and carries a lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, fading and purpling. What changes is how much heat stays out. Prices are installed — film and labour.

Window film going on a living room window
Home & business

Base housing and everything after.

If the house has a wall of glass facing west, the afternoon is not on your side. Home window film takes out the heat and glare and stops the fading, without turning the room dark or costing you the view. There's commercial window film for shops and offices too. For both, send a few photos and rough measurements of the windows and we'll quote it, usually the same day.

  • Cooler rooms, lower cooling bills
  • No more faded floors, rugs or furniture
  • Daytime privacy, same view out
  • Quoted by the square foot from your photos
Paint protection

For the front of the car.

Tint is for the glass. Paint protection film is the clear film over your paint, so the road stops writing on your bumper and hood. Light scratches vanish with heat; ten-year warranty.

Same day appointment and very reasonable prices. Staff even saved me money on an Uber by driving to my place to pick me up once my truck was done.

Roy questions

Before you drive up.

What shade is legal in Utah?
Front side windows must let at least 43% of the light through; rear sides and back glass can be any darkness. If your workplace is stricter than the state, say so before we cut.
Can you work around shift schedules?
Usually. The shop is open Tuesday to Friday 9 to 6 and Saturday 10 to 4. Call (801) 479-8000, say what your week looks like, and we'll find a slot that fits.
Do you come out to Roy?
Cars come to the shop — that's where the film gets cut to your exact windows. For home and business film, send a few photos and rough measurements of the windows and we'll quote it, usually the same day.
How long is the car out of action?
Two to three hours for most full cars, under an hour for the front two windows. Leave the windows up for three to five days afterwards while the film settles.

Live generously.

Fifteen minutes from Roy. Stop getting into a car that's been cooking in the lot since 6am. Bring it by 5804 Harrison Blvd.
