Twenty minutes up Highway 89

An hour a day in the driver's seat.

Kaysville is a commuter's town. Two trips a day on the freeway, both of them with the sun on one side of the car, is a lot of hours in a seat that gets hot and a lot of UV through a window that barely slows it down.

  • About twenty minutes up Highway 89 from Kaysville
  • Ceramic films aimed at the heat you actually feel
  • Nothing that interferes with your phone or radio signal
  • XPEL film, lifetime warranty, 99% of UV stopped

Drivers take most of their UV on the left side, through the glass they're leaning on. Utah has the highest melanoma rate in the country, helped along by 4,300 feet of thin air. Film blocks 99% of it, every day, without you doing anything.

How to get here

Drop it off. Pick it up.

5804 Harrison Blvd in South Ogden, about 20 minutes from Kaysville. Open Tuesday to Friday 9 to 6 and Saturday 10 to 4. Cars are dropped in the morning and picked up the same afternoon — nothing stays overnight.

Come up in the morning

Highway 89 north, which turns into Harrison Blvd. Open at 9 Tuesday through Friday, 10 on Saturday.

Drive home cooler

Two to three hours for a full car. The difference shows up on the very first afternoon commute.

Harrison Blvd runs past Weber State University; we're south of the campus. Book a time or call the shop.

Three films

Same warranty. Different heat.

Every film is XPEL, blocks 99% of UV and carries a lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, fading and purpling. What changes is how much heat stays out. Prices are installed — film and labour.

Home & business

And the room you sit in after.

The house has the same problem the car does, for more hours a day. Home window film takes the heat and the glare out of west-facing rooms and stops your floors and furniture fading. Offices and storefronts use commercial window film. For either, send a few photos and rough measurements of the windows and we'll quote it, usually the same day.

  • Cooler rooms, lower cooling bills
  • No more faded floors, rugs or furniture
  • Daytime privacy, same view out

Paint protection

For the front of the car.

Tint is for the glass. Paint protection film is the clear film over your paint, so the road stops writing on your bumper and hood. Light scratches vanish with heat; ten-year warranty.

They did a great job on my tint!! Definitely go with the Ceramic Nano. Blocks out all the heat plus looks better than regular tint.

Landon was easy to talk to and super accommodating. He squeezed me in for a quick window tint repair and matched the existing tint perfectly. Fast, efficient service.

Kaysville questions

Before you drive up.

Which film is worth it for a long commute?
Hybrid Ceramic at $349 on a sedan is the sweet spot and what Landon puts on his own vehicles. Nano Ceramic at $499 blocks up to 88% of the heat you feel if you park outside all day.
Will tint mess with my phone or the radio?
No. The ceramic films have nothing metallic in them, so signal, radio and toll transponders all behave exactly as they did before.
What's legal in Utah?
Front side windows have to let at least 43% of the light through. Rear sides and back glass can be any darkness you like.
Do I need to come to the shop?
For a car, yes — the film is cut to your exact windows here. For home and business film there's no visit at all: Send a few photos and rough measurements of the windows and we'll quote it, usually the same day.

Live generously.

Twenty minutes up Highway 89. Two commutes a day with 99% less UV and a car that isn't an oven at 5pm. Bring it by 5804 Harrison Blvd.
